I have read almost every post on here and on reddit and I am about to give up because nothing has worked. My Quest 2 works fine with the link cable but I would like to use air link now because my cable broke. The reason I even bought the cable in the first place was because air link stopped working suddenly and has never worked since. It connects but then has a frozen or laggy and unresponsive screen. I tried the following (not in any particular order):
-Rebooting my computer
-Rebooting my router
-checking my internet speed
-Rebooting the quest
-Uninstalling and Reinstalling the quest client app on my computer
-updating my AMD and NVIDIA drivers
-downgraded my AMD and NVIDIA Drivers
-updating Windows
-updating the quest client app and quest headset
-changing the settings to be high performance for the quest client app
and a few other things that | can't even remember now because I have been trying to fix this for MONTHS! If I could get some help, it would be appreciated!

Let's start with the basics. How is your PC connected to the wifi access point? Ethernet? How far away from the wifi access point is the headset? Are there any walls in the way? What frequency is the wifi access point? 2.4GHz? 5GHz? 6GHz? Are the 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies on separate SSIDS? Are any other devices using the same wifi? If you try Virtual Desktop, what connection speeds does it report?

I am not connected by Ethernet and my frequency is 5Ghz. The access point is clear of any walls and the headset is right next to the access point. One other computer is using the wifi but is idle. I can use Virtual/Remote Desktop without any issue but I can not tell the speed but it seems to be fast and responsive.

For best performance you need an ethernet connection between the PC and wifi access point. If the PC is connected by wifi you are effectively halving your bandwidth and doubling your latency. Virtual Desktop should tell you your connection speed in the main window. For a clean 5GHz signal it should read 866Mbps or better.
