Quest 2 Consistently breaks connection when connected over Link to a PC

As said in the title, my Quest 2 crashes the link connection every time within minutes of connecting to the PC (over USB 3).

Details / solutions i've tried:

- changing Link Cable

- updating NVIDIA Drivers, Meta Link drivers, and the Quest 2 itself

- factory resetting the Quest 2

- reinstalling the Link software

- tried connecting to a different computer entirely, on which another Quest 2 works fine, still crashes.

This last point indicates to me that the problem is with the device itself, is it possible this is a hardware issue? The USB connection seems fine, the headset charges correctly at least.

Any help is appreciated,

- Victor

It's been an issue for a couple of weeks now for many of us with no permanent fix. Many of us have reached out to support with no conclusive remedies. I have resorted to using a USB-A to USB-C cable, while it does the trick, it does not charge my headset fast enough. Meta will most likely ask you to send them an email or chat .... Until then, I too await for a proper fix regarding the PCVR cable link issue.

Wow strange, this would mean it's some sort of software issue then... i wonder why only one of my Quest 2s is affected? I will try your USB-A to USB-C solution and see if that helps.

Thank you for the info.
