In January 2021 I discovered that my Quest 2 Elite Strap with Battery had a long crack almost cutting through the entire width of the strap. I reported it to support and got a replacement strap sent to me not long after.
On October 18 this year, I was putting on my Quest 2 with the Elite Strap with Battery for the first time in about 3 months, and the strap broke on both sides. This was the very same replacement strap I was sent back in January 2021.
I have been in communication with Meta Store Support but after the initial response, and me returning the broken strap to Meta a couple of weeks ago I have heard nothing. If I had known there would be no replacement strap I would not have returned the broken one but rather have tried to glue and tape it together so I at least would be able to use my Quest 2.
While the warranty for the strap has expired I hope there is a way for me to get this fixed as I am unable to use the Quest 2 with the regular strap; it is just too uncomfortable for me.
