Oculus button doesn't work at all, anywhere. I tried to repair the controller, but, I have no oculus button to repair it, so is there any way to change the buttons i use to pair?

Also, the oculus button not working is a hardware issue.

Hey there, @jade.jade.jade! We know how important it is to have two working controllers, and we'd like to look into this issue with your broken Oculus button. Let's work together to explore our options!

There is an option to re-map the controller, but that may not work for all buttons and situations. You can customize the button mapping on your Touch controllers to any layout you prefer by going to Accessibility in Settings and selecting Mobility, then Re-map Controllers. You can give it a try if you'd like.

Otherwise, our best option would likely be to try and get the controller button functional again. We recommend:

  • Clean the controller.
    • Compressed air can be used to remove any debris inside the controller.
  • Remove unsupported third-party accessories that may affect button movement or controller detection.
    • For example, controller covers, controller attachments, etc.
  • Remove the battery from the controller for 30 seconds. Try a new battery.

If these steps don't do the trick, we'd like you to contact us through PM so we can see what other options we may have. Please select our name to get to our profile page, or click here.
