Quest 2 Problem with VR / Twinmotion

STUDIOLANGEL
Honored Guest

Hello everyone,

I have a problem that I can't seem to solve:
Using VR via Twinomtion and my Quest 2: I manage to connect my headset via Airlink but as soon as I click on "Start VR" the image is connected to my headset and follows the orientation of my movements but on my PC screen only, in my headset it doesn't work I see black, sometimes a blue circle at the bottom.

I'm desperate because it only worked 1 time and now it doesn't work at all. My hypothesis is that it's linked to an update of either my Nvidia graphics card or the Quest 2, but I am not sure.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Thanks for your help

Hi there, @STUDIOLANGEL! We know how important getting you back into the PCVR groove is, so we'd love to assist further! To clarify a bit, are you having trouble launching Air Link on our official desktop app? Have you ever been able to successfully launch Air Link in the past? Is your PC compatible to support Air Link based on this article? Let us know and we can continue from there!

Hi there,
Thank you for checking on me.
I don't have a problem with Air link, I am now used to the process of connecting my headset to my PC and this is working.
I do have problem at the final step which is seeing in my headset the VR. I can tell my  headset is connected to my PC because I can see on my PC screen the view adjusting to my head movements, but in my headdset it's a black screen.

As I said in my first message, I suspect a problem with updating my Nvidia graphics card because the first time I tested VR via Twinomtion and my headset it worked. Then I did some updates and since then it doesn't work anymore. Furthermore, I came across a thread on a forum where someone was advising not to leave the choice of graphics card to Occulus in the windows settings and to select energy mode which uses the Intel integrated graphics card rather than the Nvidia dedicated graphics card. By following this advice I managed to visualize VR in the headset, only that the image was slow and lagging because the integrated card doesn't keep up.

So for now, I'm trying to backtrack on my GPU updates until I find a version that works again.
