I have been thinking about buying a quest 2, I want to use tha airlink but the router is far away and I cannot move it closer. I had an Idea and i wanted to "fact check" it.
So here it is:
-I would buy a router (router2) that is capable of 5ghz
-I would connect router2 to my original router (router1) via an ethernet cable
-I would than connect my pc to router2 via ethernet.
Would this work and if not what do I need to do, or if it would wark what psooible configurations would i need to make to router2 to make it work. Thanks in advance guys.

That should work perfectly and is, in fact, the recommended method. Just make sure router 2 is in your play space and has been configured to operate in Access Point mode.

Hey there, @Adam03282006! We want to make sure you can connect to Air Link without issues, so we'd love to help provide more options for you to be able to test what works best for you. With @user_901925786032222 providing an option, we recommend using a D-Link VR Air Bridge.
This accessory allows your Wi-Fi connection to be like a bridge connecting your signal beyond the main room of your router. To learn more about this option, please check out our Meta Quest Help Center, but of course, if you have any more questions, do let us know!
