Happened to my quest today. This is 100% a software/hardware glitch or bug that is being kept under wraps otherwise support would have posted some sort of solution or explanation for the issues. This is not the first forum regarding the problem and they all go back to 2022. I will be investigating and looking at the code in the latest firmware and system upgrade that was pushed out. I am wondering if they are purposely bricking quest2s to force everybody to upgrade to quest3. The issue effects quest3s way less, probably cause they are all still under warranty.
