I have a Quest 2, and today, it did a firmware update but something crashed while it was doing it. I didn't tell it to do the update, it just did it on it's own.
After trying to reboot it, for 6 hours it's been stuck in a bootloop where the meta logo stays on screen blinking on and off slowly.
I tried factory resetting, and force restarting and nothing works. It continues to try to re-install that broken firmware update and nothing happens.
I've reached out to support, but because my headset was out of warranty date, they are refusing to fix the headset and have instructed me to go buy a refurbished one.
I'm looking for a fix, as it's not MY fault that THEIR firmware update caused my headset to break. I shouldn't be held financially responsible for that.
