So last night I was STRUGGLING to link my Quest 2 to my laptop to be able to connect whatever unrelated stuff (SDKs, not having pcvr and such). I do not have a link cable because I think it's expensive, so I tried using its charger cable and later a normal usbc-usb (normal phone cable y'know) cable, and NONE of those options worked. Then I tried Air Link. I did what I did: same Wi-Fi connection, headset updated, and again nothing. My headset was not detecting my laptop whatsoever.
I am very desperate to fix this issue since it really got on my nerves. Thank you.

@KhyHasVRFinally do you have the latest version of the meta horizons software on your PC, and what GPU is in the laptop. Is it listed in the supported hardware list.

@KhyHasVRFinally Download the Sidequest app and create a developer account. This will allow you to connect the PC to the headset and be able to view the headset in file explorer. You may also need the ADB driver for the laptop as well.
As you guessed, you're not going to be able to run PCVR titles on the laptop.
