Last night I turned on my Q2. It took a very long time to load the main screen. Once it did, the only way I had to interact was with the Volume up button. It would not recognize the controllers except for the Oculus button for calling menu and re-centering, and it wouldn’t recognize my hands. When pressing buttons the controllers would buzz and blink briefly but that’s it. I tried restarting, turning completely off and back on. I removed the batteries for 5 minutes on the controllers to hard boot them. On my second power cycle of the headset, before it could shut down, I got a pop up saying hand tracking and controllers were disabled. It worked for a game after but when I turned it off and back on the problem came back.

Yes I had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday, I wonder if it has something to do with the update?

Unfortunately the problem returned when I turned the system off and then back on again. I seem to be able to go to the power off screen, quick press the power button to turn off the screen , then turn it back on and clicking the buttons on the controllers usually brings them back. Workable but not the best situation.

I do the same thing as @Kervouchard to get the tracking to work again, I press the power button off and on, or hold it in to get to the 'Power-off' screen then cancel and it seems to bring the tracking back again. I have also noticed the last time this happened that in my notifications, it has "Controllers and Hand tracking have been disabled" listed.

Yes the tracking has worked before - this is quite a recent issue, maybe in the last week or so? I have an external battery pack attached to my head strap but even when this is not plugged in I get the same problem. It happens with both controllers as well as the hand tracking and it only happens when I power on my device.

Thanks for mentioning that you don't have to go to the "Turn off" screen. Just pressing the power button to turn off the screen and then back on works for me as well.
