Quest 2 not showing "allow access to files" when pugged in

I recently got back on my quest 2 headset to play Bonelab, I then went to install some mods but for some reason it is not showing the "allow access to files" notification. I have restarted my pc, my headset and I have switched cables. I am not sure what to do next.

Meta changed the alert so the connection shows up in notifications rather than a popup. However on many headsets (including my own) the notification doesn't show at all.

If this is the case you can use ADB either through Sidequest (look under Device Settings and Tools to enable MTP) or by issuing from the command prompt (Windows) the command:

[path to adb\adb shell svc usb setFunctions mtp
