Quest 2 not staying connected to wifi

I use my quest 2 standalone and play online games
Each 5 minutes it discconects from my Wifi then recconnects causing me to lag out and sometimes get kicked

This issue has been happening the past 1.5 month.
My phone and other devices are able to stay connected to the same wifi its only my quest that is having this issue.
The wifi i use is an extender from the main router as the main router isnt strong enough to reach my room.
The router I use is in the room next to me and i have all bars of signal.

Hi @Gamer-Bro! We can see you are having some issues with your Meta Quest connecting to your Wi-Fi, and this might be due to the Wi-Fi extender.

We recommend you try using your Meta Quest in the same room as your Wi-Fi router. Does the issue persist?


If so, then there are some other steps we can try:

  1. Restart your headset.
  2. Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect communication (such as headset covers, etc.)

i have made the bug report. as the other "fixes" did not work
