Quest 2 right Controller

JumboMuskitcat

i have a question actually about my right controller, i have repaired and changed parts out on both of my controllers and my 2 headsets since 2019, but i never came across a right controller that shows no sign of life once so ever and as i took it apart no damage can be seen on the main board or battery holder, the ribbons are fine no damage and no other cables are damaged but yet it won't blink as it powers on like my left controller dose, so im at a cross roads of what i should do, i tried replacing the battery handle and ribbon with no effect so, do i just need to give up? or buy a new controller?

@JumboMuskitcat As there's not much to go wrong with the controllers. If it's not a sunken positive battery terminal, then it'd probably the controller board which are replaceable.

that is a good point i guess, replacing it with another one can be an answer, my only worry is, on prices and the availability of fresh replacements boards without costing an arm and a leg so to speak

@JumboMuskitcat  ebay, aliexpress or other chinese sites have cheaper parts, or a busted one thats had an encounter with a wall.

agreed that tends to be the case with a high percentage of them in most case's, but yeah you are right about it, the only thing that could put a 'wrench in the computer' is the new shipping and tax polices with china

@JumboMuskitcat  if you can get parts that are cheaper than purchasing a replacement controller, then the rewards of fixing it yourself are immeasurable.
