Updated Quest 2 to v64. When casting to a MacBook is lagging. If casting to iPhone via Oculus app works perfect. I am using the same network with no other users or devices. Tested with different routers, different MacBooks with different browser ( Chrome and Edge)and the issue remains. Connected via cable the MacBoo to the RJ45 port of the router ( same LAN) and the issue remains.
The lagging intensity can change but I do not understand the condition when the lag appears.
The lagging occurs also when not running any app.
It would be great to still have Chromecast setting available in order to make a comparison and understand if the issue is browser related.
Any help or suggestion is very welcome.

Good to know you've tried chromecasting with a different PC, but indeed it didn't work out.
We would like to remind that casting directly to a Chromecast device or TV is not fully supported by Meta, and may not work with some Chromecast devices or TVs. What we recommend is in case you want to proceed with more troubleshooting steps please visit Chromecast Help Center.

I am not sure if it started after v64 update because before I was casting to Chromecast devices only ( smartTV, Chromecast dongle) and it was working very well. I never casted to computer. Now with v64 cast to computer is the unique choice.
It would be nice to have "cast to Chromecast device " enabled again to verify if the issue is "cast to computer" related or is caused by something other.

I will try it. But please let me know if after Hard Reboot the Quest 2 configuration data, apps etc. are lost and I have to enter again primary account. Also I am running a custom app from App Lab. It will remain in the device?

Just to be sure. The Hard Reboot is like the Factory reset or is it something different?

@icgebVR2 The hard reboot is very different from a factory reset, you won't lose any apps, data or configurations, it's just a different way to reboot your device! After booting up, try casting before opening any other applications and check if the lagging persists!

Ok, I will try it. Just to understand which volume button have I to press? The minus button or the plus one?

You just have to hold the power and volume down button on your headset simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
