Quest 2 v64 casting to computer is lagging

Updated Quest 2 to v64. When casting to a MacBook  is lagging. If casting to iPhone via Oculus app works perfect. I am using the  same network with no other users or devices. Tested with different routers, different MacBooks with different browser ( Chrome and Edge)and the issue remains. Connected via cable the MacBoo to the RJ45 port of the router ( same LAN) and the issue remains.

The lagging intensity can change but I do not understand the condition when the lag appears.

The lagging occurs also when not running any app. 

It would be great to still have Chromecast setting available in order to make a comparison and understand if the issue is browser related.

Any help or suggestion is very welcome.

I continued with the testing and I can confirm that the cast selection "casting to a computer" is definitely stuttering.

Selecting "casting to Chromecast" is very good. I cast to any Chromecast  device ( SmartTV, Chromecast TV Dongle)and it   is very fluid, very little lag and there is NO STUTTERING. It will be great if you could fix that issue. Just to tell that in  our case the use  of the casting is requested in  high school classrooms  to teach biology science to the students ( not for video games). With Kind Regards, Diego.

Since you have already tried troubleshooting, and have narrowed the issue down to just the specific casting to computer option, we would recommend getting this reported as a bug. This will get your report, along with all of the details you can provide, directly to the developers who can try to replicate the issue and get to working on a fix.
