Ever since updating to v74 our second account on our Quest 2 has been having issues. The primary account has been fine.
First, when powering up, sometimes there would be multiple boundaries and after clicking confirm, the boundary would stay in view even if we were nowhere near the boundaries edge. We cleared all boundary history and the problem persisted with the new boundary.
Going into games, the headset would lock up and we'd have to restart the headset.
If a game would successfully load and we'd want to exit the game, pressing the Oculus button and clicking "quit" would bring us back to the VR home, but we could no longer see the task bar or any windows. It was just our environment with the white line at the bottom of where the taskbar would be (the line that could be used to move the windows). When moving the touch controller and pointing in the area where the window should be, we'd get haptics like we're pointing to a game, but we couldn't see anything. Basically, the window seemed to still be there, just invisible. Pressing the oculus button again had no response. Restarting the headset would fix this, but when opening another game and quitting, it would happen again.
We decided to remove the second profile and add it again. This resolved the boundary issue and allowed us to access games without locking up. However, quitting a game would still stop us from seeing the taskbar or apps again unless we restarted.
We did a factory reset today and the problem still persists. Any time we quit a game, we can no longer access the taskbar or apps without restarting the headset.
Is this a known bug or is there anything else we can do?
Thank you @Choleni. I must have missed those posts. I appreciate you sharing them with me and for already reporting the meta button/crashing issue. It looks like someone else had our original boundary issue and reported that too. I'll do the same. Maybe the more we report, the quicker it'll get resolved.
Maybe I'm the only one who's special when i exit the game or enter it to secondary account it feels like i see primary account.
