ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop. Hello everyone. I need help very badly. I bought my ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop about a year ago for the sole purpose of playing IL-2 Sturmovik Flying Circus and I have not been able to get it to work. I have tried both the Oculus Link and Virtual Desktop and it does not work. Could someone with the same laptop give me step by step instructions to set up Virtual Desktop correctly? When I launch the game via steam vr and once in the game I just get a windowed view of the cockpit and no vr experience. Anyone have any ideas on the set up? I've enabled 3rd party apps on the oculus and can't see anything in settings that can help. Thanks

Hey! If you happen to have the ROG G14 with the AMD Chipset, you will need to manually update the AMD Drivers by going to the official AMD website. Whenever you wish to play VR Games you will also have to restart your PC and have it completely unplugged from any external viewing monitors/devices for the best experience possible. (basically anything attached to a USBC/Display Port Port on your PC, or any HDMI or alternative display ports on your PC). Otherwise, remove all external monitors whilst making sure your laptop screen is running, then boot up your choice of VR Program and you should be good to go. It is likely your virtual desktop and link setups are fine.
