In my opinion, the headset is an engineering nightmare. So far I've been sent 3 replacements as priors were defective. Meta refused to refund my money from day one, the current one keeps changing my preferred home screen back to their choice, they keep changing MY Preferred settings constantly, the headset overheats / fan issue, controllers are sporadic, screen color is faded, USB link is sporadic / headset storage access unpredictable & battery drains in no time.
Meta ignores my emails for months, my guess they are waiting for my warranty to run out? Maybe if they stopped spying & collecting our data for their profits, the headset may work more correctly? Does anyone at Meta even care? Is anyone in charge?
