I recently got the new VR and saw it game with Aagard's Wrath 2. I haven't played the first so I found it in the store.
It says I've purchased it, but it's not in my library, and I don't see an option to download it. Not sure what I'm missing here

Asgard's Wrath 1 (for Rift and Quest via Link/Airlink) is included as a preorder bonus with Asgard's Wrath 2. The free AW2 with the Quest 3 counts as a preorder.

How do you open Asgard 1 on PC? It says I purchased it but I can't find it. Is it like a steam thing? How do I install/play Asgard 1?

Assuming you have a Quest headset, you need to connect your Quest to your PC using either Link (usb cable) or Airlink (wifi).
Airlink: https://www.meta.com/help/quest/articles/headsets-and-accessories/oculus-link/connect-with-air-link/
Once connected, the Quest will show your Rift (PC) library instead of your Quest library. That's where Asgard's Wrath 1 is. It's about 142GB, so might take a while to install. 🙂

My question was how do I install Asgard on the PC. I found out. You have to download through the oculus app on the PC. For those who didn’t have any previous oculus or rift, we don’t have the oculus app the pc. That is an important step that wasn’t clear. I didn’t know if it was through steam or a separate download or what app.

Yes, both of those links I gave you told you to install the oculus desktop app as the first step.
Once one of those is done your Quest will be connected to the oculus desktop app and you can install Asgard's Wrath 1 from within the headset or in the app (both will install it on the PC).

The link tells you to download the apps to make the link. It doesn’t say to download the oculus app for the pc.

The app that makes link work and the oculus app for pc are the same program.

Once I opened the link I saw the instruction to download the app. I didn't open the links earlier because I wasn't ready to link the quest 3 to the PC because I did not have the game on the PC yet.
There were too many assumptions by Meta that people would know or already have the app downloaded so they can access Asgard 1. They just said, open Asgard 1 on PC... ok, how? And all the forums kept saying, download the link app so you can link Quest 3 to the PC, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was, how in the world do you download Asgard 1? I got it now but you can see the confusion.
Side note... how do you access little cities, the game on quest +? I can't find it on my quest 3.

This is from the e-mail confirming the order and again from the email confirming delivery:

You won't be able to download Asgard's 2 until it's release in mid December. It may show that you purchased it but that's to show you that you have it on pre-order for now. In the meantime I was able to download for free the original Asgard game. You can download the original if you haven't played it yet.
