I just bought a Quest 3 with the charging dock and when I switched the batteries in the controller to the provided rechargeable battery packs in the charging dock box, the right battery would not power the controller even after being left on the charging dock for some time. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Hey there, @YeYoJB! Having issues with your controller batteries not charging when you first get them is not ideal, and we would love to work with you on getting this fixed up. First we would want to remove any third party accessories to see if they may be interfering with the intended use of the controller. Also we do want to ask a couple of questions about the affected controller, so if you can answer these it would be great:

It took many attempts to get the controller to make the chime and start charging again. That's the signal. If you don't hear it, it's not charging even if the light goes green after a while. In the end maybe it was making sure it was the only device on the charging stand that finally worked. My advice is to never let the battery drain fully which is hard because the charge doesn't last very long. This isn't the first time this has happened but it doesn't seem to be a problem if I always remember to put everything back on the charging stand when I'm done playing.

Just got new Meta dock for Christmas. I am using the cord that came with the dock. When I lay headset on dock I get a green light on dock and headset. When I place controllers on charging dock (using the that came with the dock) I don't get a chime but the light flashes green/amber. Six hrs later controllers are not charged at all. Have tried pushing reset on batteries to no avail.

I am having the same problem but with both controllers with the rechargeable batteries that came with the charging base. I lined up the pins putting it in the base overnight and nothing
