Quest 3 Controller not tracking at all


The controller tracking is not working and I cannot see the controller in virtual mode but the buttons work and there are 3 pink-purple lights on the controller while in passthrough mode. I don't know is wrong with it I've tried all of the troubleshooting methods suggested but they still do not work.

Hey, it seem like you came across a little hiccup. We will be happy to help you with this issue. If you not have already we suggest trying these steps


  1. Charge your headset for at least 2 hours so that it is fully charged
  2. Test another app/game to rule out an app specific issue
  3. Cover any windows, mirrors or reflective surfaces
  4. Try a different play space and note if the tracking improves
  5. Attempt to complete a reboot of the headset by holding down the power and volume (-) at the same time for 30 seconds to load the boot menu. Hit exit and reboot from the menu.
