I have a Quest 3 running v72. It used to download apps at a reasonable speed, but at some point, it started downloading VERY slowly. Around 1 MBs every 2-3 seconds.
Nothing has changed with my internet (5G, between 50mbps—150mbps down). Other devices like my phone and PC download applications from steam etc. as quick as expected. It’s just the quest that’s slow.
I contacted support about this numerous times and have gone through everything, up to and including a factory reset. It didn’t fix the issue.
I did just try a speed test via the quest browser app and it clocked-in at 50mbps. Not breaking any records obviously, but certainly fast enough to download an app in a reasonable amount of time. (For reference, it recently took me over an hour to download a 1gb application, and nearly 18 hours to download a 20gb application, both via the quest store.)
Can anyone help me? I don’t know what to do anymore and support just keeps passing me around from person to person, doomed to give the same information over and over without resolution.
