Quest 3 Error to Update Space for Arizona Sunshine 2

Hi,

It can't be possible to create a device and games for it but not think about how it really works.

I have had the same problem since the beginning with my Quest 3.

Until yesterday, I reinstalled AS2 for each update.

Here are all the problems:

1. AS2 needs 48 GB to update.
2. I also have Asgard's Wrath 2 and AS1 on my 128 GB Quest 3.

Yesterday, after I got Belly of the Beast to try, I finally did a factory reset.

What happened?

I tried to install Asgard's Wrath and AS2, but my Quest said there is not enough space!

And NO, I can't go to space settings and delete something!

Okay, then I tried to download JUST Asgard's Wrath.

Now the download is taking 25 hours and still not finished.

With my Wi-Fi and computer, I downloaded 1 GB in 15 minutes (not so fast, 51 Mbps).

But with my Quest by Meta, it takes 2.5 hours.

If you want to answer, please don't start with "check your connection or space"—for 5 months, I did many, many basic things that Meta and other smart guys tried.

Also, I contacted Vertigo Games. They didn't answer.

  • How much space does your headset show as available?
  • Are you able to download other games, or is this only happening with Asgard's Wrath and Arizona Sunshine 2?
  • Did changing your Wi-Fi network help or change anything?
  • Do you have an open case with our support team?

and thanks for get in touch.

points:

1. 103Gb after Factory Reset. but Normaly with my important Games so around 21 Gb free.

2.If you mean huge place for update, happens just by AS2.

by Asgard warth, when i click on update. quest says me there`s  no enogh space, than stop to work completely. i can just reinstall. but i dont have the same problem with another apps,

3. NO also i tried with 5G and mobile Data with good connection.

4. One time couple of month ago. but they wrote me at first some Basic things, than they tell me  i should wait, and I'm still waiting ………... 😞

but i`m not the only person with that issue.

 

I gonna share my experience here and i hope can help if i find some solution or information.

Sorry for late answer 😞

I downloaded The ArizonaS2 at first. after finishing the AS2 i started Asgard's W2 and i dowloaded without any problem. after finishing Asgard's W2 i downloaded other Games.

still problematic:

1. if I click all together for downloading, the quest start to download the First App and normally should the second and other apps stay in waiting list, BUT! than quest says, NOT Enough space!

2.  the problem with AS2, i don't know how it will be in next update! but i don't think the Vertigo guys do anything. i think they change whole the App on own server and request as Update to download and not just a part as update like any other App.

 OK, but now i have another problem.

after RESET the quest. I can't join in another Wifi network.

i was as guest by a friend because he has a faster internet. but i cant log in to new network.

we tried 3 different wifi and places, but no chance!!!

i could end the downloads, as i get back home and my quest got the net known network Automatically…..

it`s not easy as i wished to be.

it's Funny, i have no problem with Steam Apps, games, even is for Meta.

AS2 PcVs and Quest Link has never worked with my quest3, but AS2 PC Vs. from steam and steam link ON MY QUEST is a dream.

Sad But true
