Hi, I received my Quest 3 today. When looking through the headset, the image appears to be foggy. As I received the package when it was dull outside, the headset has not been exposed to any sunlight. I have tried cleaning the lens inside the headset with a new lens cloth, but to no avail.
Is this a fault?

Hey everyone in this thread! Lenses are super important for a great VR experience, and it's definitely not ideal to have blurry lenses for a brand new Quest 3.
If you haven't yet, I would suggest attempting to clean your lenses with only a dry microfiber cloth, starting from the center of the lens and gently wipe in a circular motion moving outwards.
After that, if your lenses are still blurry and unclear, I'd suggest opening a ticket with the Support Team here.

Did you remove the plastic protecting each lens

Yes. Did this prior to setup.

I am having the same exact issue. Anything that is why looks like it is foggy. I have even tried to clean my lenses with a microfiber cloth and it doesn't help.

Are you both talking about the cameras and how you see your room or is this in a game or app

This is in an app or just in the oculus settings, not with the cameras.

Same problem for me also , it just looks hazy like the lenses are dirty but no amount of cleaning is helping.
Its causing ghosting with some of the brighter texts and logos.

I am experiencing the same issue. It becomes more noticeable when looking into a bright spot. This might be related to the pancake lenses.

Same issue. Just opened a ticket for it. Glad to see it’s not just me. I especially notice it in Dungeons of Eternity and any like dark room areas. Just looks real foggy. Hope they can fix it!
