Quest 3 Link Overheating Alert/Alarm showed up during game

Hope everyone is having a good night. Picked up quest 3 as an upgrade from my quest 1 and It seems to be giving me a lot more errors than I previously encountered on quest 1. 

I was playing Steam VR via the Oculus link cable (purchased from Oculus (Pre Meta) directly when it was released for Quest 1) And playing Hotdogs Horseshoes and Handgrenades on the same settings I previously used on Quest one. The game was playing fine, about an hour In I got an alarm tone and an overheating warning on the headset and immediately shut it down to prevent damage to the headset. Is anyone having similar issues with the quest 3?

 

This is the second headset I have gone through due to having to return one for dead pixels.

Got the same message on the Quest 3, while using Amaze VR trying a new Concert in MR mode.

i’m on the latest v59 version and have used the app before without any issues, ok the app is from App Lab so it might be a reason. Will try to see if it’s specific for that concert or if it can be reproduced again.

I have a brand new meta quest 3 and I also receive the overheating alarm. What can I do please.
