Using desktop through Quest link on Quest 3, as soon as I put the controllers down and use mouse/keyboard on my desktop the black box notification pops up "Your controllers can't be found", there is no way to disable it and is an immersion killer. I have turned off notifications and enabled do not disturb nothing works. I see a lot of people have the same problem across the web!
Hey there, @SmeeGav. We understand the popups can pull you out of your VR experience. Usually this happens when the controllers are out of the VR head set sensors, this error will pop up. This would be a cool thing to drop on the Idea's forum. But for now, if you have a place you can set them that will keep them in your VR sensor's view, that would be the best way to keep that error message from popping up. No they are in full view, I put them at the back of the keyboard and within ten seconds a big black box saying "Your controllers can't be found", pops up and can't be turned off, do a quick duck search and see all the others annoyed by this. It's a rift problem. Would be easy for a dev to turn off!
We definitely can understand how this is hindering your enjoyment of playing with your device through Quest Link, however as mentioned previously suggestions like making changes to how the device works, need to be submitted through the Ideas Forums here. Why has this being an accepted solution when there is no solution and this suggestion clearly doesn't work, which will leave others downa rabbit hole?
