Hi All.
I am having issues with Air link. The symptom is that it will randomly disconnect, then when I try to reconnect sometimes it connects other times it does not.
I have setup a TPLINK Archer AC1750 exclusive for this use. I have it connected to my main router via cable, my desktop connected to this router, and the Quest connected via wifi. I have only the 5GHz Enabled and the router is 1m away from the VR headset.
It works well, however from time to time it will randomly disconnect the headset. Then If I try to reconnect, it connects and immediately loose connection again. I keep trying and after like 5-6 attempts it connects.
Do you have any sugestion of what I could do to troubleshoot/diagnose?
Thanks.

Hey there, we appreciate you reaching out about this! Just for clarification, are you having issues with a Wi-Fi connection or the Air-Link connection? Is it both?
The Air Link system doesn't utilize an internet connection. As a result, we'd advise checking your Wi-Fi router itself for any issues.
In regards to Air Link, we'd like to make sure there's no unsupported 3rd Party Accessories attached that could be interrupting your connection.
We hope to hear from you soon to get to the bottom of this!

Hi.
Thanks for responding.
The issue with the VR disconnecting seems to have been fixed with setting the Mac Address to the hardware instead of random. I read this on another post and after changing the setting it became stable.
From another hand, when I try to launch the Airlink it connects and immediately disconnect. I was able to record a video to demonstrate, note how after a few attempts it goes through.

In addition to this symptom, I am seing an issue where the first time I try to connect my desktop won't show in the list of airlink devices. When I go to configuration->beta and then reset the airlink it shows in the VR for connecting.
Thanks.

Hi. I think something went wrong with the copy and paste link. The Y character should be included in the url. Here is the fixed link.

Hi there.
I have the router dedicated for this purpose, no other devices connected. I even disabled 2.5g to ensure maximum usage of the resources. The router is connected to the pc with a ethernet cable.
if I go to troubleshooter, I see all items in green, meaning requirements are met.
The symptom is always the same, it connects and drops 3 or 4 times, then it connects. Once connected it's stable.
Is there a log that I can post here that could help troubleshoot?
