Quest 3 PCVR Stutter

agentdb

I recently bought a Quest 3 and the specs on the thing are great but whenever I try and play PCVR titles I get random microstutter. This happens both over the oculus link cable as well as using Virtual desktop over a dedicated router. I've tried every setting under the sun including adjusting ODT settings such at bitrate, turning off gsync, turning off HAGS, using every codec  imaginable, adjusting the resolution and refresh rate, changing the runtimes for VR games, switching USB slots, changing all sorts of BIOS settings and praying to our Lord and saviour. My PC specs are as follows:

RTX 4090

13900K

Samsung 990 Pro NVMe

ASUS Z790 Hero Motherboard

32GB of DDR5 RAM running @ 6400

I know it has nothing to do with the performance of my PC as I've been using fpsvr to monitor when the stutters happen. The only clue I found was that, when using virtual desktop it showed spikes in the decoding aspect of transferring the data over. Before you ask there's no issues relating to the USB slots on my PC as they're showing more than enough transfer speed for it to be the issue as I'm running via lightning bolt (have also tried USB 3 Gen 2). I can see numerous posts on this forum stating the exact same issue so I wanted to know if Meta have a timeline on when this issue is going to be fixed.

Just an update basically was able to mitigate a large portion of the stutter by downgrading to Windows 10 and disabling Intel Rapid Storage.
