Quest 3 Right Controller Keeps losing connection

RealLivingLegend

Have a continual issue with the right controller losing connection while playing. A message pops up asking to press a button in the controller to reconnect. Sometimes this appears to work other times it takes quite some time before reconnecting.

I can see in my app that it always shows the controllers are connected.

Is this as defective controller?

I am having the same problem, right controller.    New to MetaQuest 3 as of Dec 2023.  My controllers have a full charge with full bar.

I am having the same right controller connection issue as others on this thread including the error message. Controllers are charged up and the lights are on. Thank you for your help.

The issue with mine was a battery connection issue. I had the rechargeable battery which was not fitting tightly so movement of the controller was losing the battery connection. When I tested with a regular battery I did not have an issue. A replacement rechargeable battery solved the issue. My suggestion would be to start by trying a different battery and see if the issue is solved, if so it is the battery connection causing the issue

I think mines is a connection issue with the rechargeable battery also. Will try tonight using normal batteries again.

The reset procedure isn't working for me I only get some kind of 'bug report' screen and don't really think anything is reset.

No disconnect yet since reverting back to battery instead of charging dummy.. think it's pretty clear the charging dummy is just not sized right.. @MetaQuestSupport do you know if you guys have a new hardware revision for the charging dummies?
