Quest 3 V69 Unable to Pin Keyboard

My Quest 3 just updated to v69, and now every time my keyboard opens, it pops up in the most inconvenient location:

Even though I move it out of the way, it keeps popping up in that (relatively) same location every time. Is there a way that I can lock it to the bottom of my control bar? At the very least it should remember where I moved it to the previous time and pop up in that location. It's only been a few hours since I updated to v69, but this is driving me up the walls! 😠

While we're at it, is it possible to add a "suggested auto-complete" at the top of the keyboard? It's not super easy typing in VR and one would think that this would have been a keyboard feature from the start?

This is live. It is part of the v69 production release that my Quest 3 downloaded automatically.

As far as I can tell on my device (which is also updated to v69) there either isn't an option to pin the keyboard or if there is, I can't seem to find it!

If this is something you would like to see added, I would suggest posting this potential setting in our ideas thread to hopefully be considered.

I know the keyboard placement can be annoying but I hope it doesn't affect your VR experience too much!

The keyboard placement is incredibly frustrating. I'm trying to use diction as an alternative But the keyboard. Keeps popping up. In the most inconvenient places. Using some programs such as Miro. A web browser. Every time I try to open up a new sticky The keyboard pops up. Right in front of my work space. If not directly blocking it at a location that I have to move it. So I chuck it out of the way then go to work on the next post it note and it pops right back up. There really should be an option to simply pin the keyboard. Ideally, it would pop up in the same space each time that a keyboard was prompted. While we're talking about the keyboard. It would be nice to be able to use my hands. To type with more than one finger at a time. But hopefully it's in the development roadmap.

Also recent updates made new windows appear to the left or right, instead of in center. Better to have a choice to how they appear. ALso keyboard appears almosy delibierately in way of contorller and resets positions. Almost as if developers deliberately made the experinece worse.

i waited for some time to see if this could potentially get a fix, never happened. if we can get an option for virtual keyboard to ignore window collusion and remember its last moved location and rotation that would be great! current state is a show stopper, it's compeletely killing the browser experience for both controllers and especially hand tracking, and while you're at it please let us disable left and right windows as we please. 🙂
