Quest 3 and Quest Link app - Devices "Quest 3 and Touch Not Connected" without restart of headset

Apologies in advance if this has been answered and I've missed it.  I've put computer/cable details at the bottom.

This is something I've been noticing since I purchased the Quest 3 in November of 2023.  During a session everything works perfectly fine and when I'm done I just simply place the headset back in its location, however the next day when I go to connect to the PC via launching "Rift" it will not find my computer and just scans.  I can disconnect and reconned the cable, but this does not detect it.  When I go into the Quest Link app it also shows "Quest 3 and Touch Not Connected" despite being connected.   

If I restart the computer it still will not show as connected.  If I wake the device by putting it on or pressing the button, it will still not show as connected.

The only option that has been working for the last 5 months has been to restart the Quest 3 each time this happens (it can also happen later in the day if I did not use it).  After the restart everything works fine.

It's not clear to me what might be causing this to happen except for time passing.  I even tried keeping my computer from sleeping once by changing the settings and unless I did something wrong it did not appear to change the condition.

I thought this was normally until I mentioned how annoying it was to go through that process since even sometimes if I do it preemptively for the day, later on it shows up as "Not connected", then I was told that wasn't how it works for others.

Per researching I've done before (with none matching this exact situation that I've seen) I've also tried re-installing the Quest Link software, clearing out cached files and obviously restarting devices (ritualistically, at this point).

Does anyone have any thoughts?  The last thing I might do is a factory reset, it just hasn't been that big of deal to warrant it yet.

We want to assess your PC's compatibility, so we kindly ask that you review the requirements to use Meta Quest Link and inform us if your specs meet them. We'd appreciate it if you listed your processor, graphics card, memory, operating system, and USB ports. Please keep in mind that we recommend using USB 3.0 ports! Additionally, can you confirm that you're using a Meta-branded Quest Link cable and not a third-party's?
