Quest 3 charging via usb link cable while gaming

Hi all, I need some help in regard to getting my quest charged via link cable while racing (I do iRacing endurance races). I use the link cable to get a decent experience, but it seems when plugged in the battery doesn't really charge and it wouldn't be fun to run into the situation where my lights go out while on the track. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

@fuPz007 I use the official link cable to my z790mb usb3.2 gen2 type-c port and it maintains my headset battery above 80% (starting off at 100%) for +6 hours.  Whether or not yours can do this depends on your motherboard usb3 power delivery and what link cable.

If you can’t maintain % charge long enough then like the OP said, get a powered link cable that uses your Quest charger to supply more power.  There are lots of options on Amazon.  Try to find one that has good reviews for your Quest.  Buy it from Amazon so it’s easy to get a refund if it doesn’t work well for you.  Hope this helps.

Get the link cable with additional power supply connection so you can connect original power supply to it. It will give you more juice.
