When I connect to quest link the virtual quest 3 controllers do not show up in the home screen. Instead I see hands. The hands do react to the controllers that I am holding physically but I do not see controllers I only see hands. If I put my physical controllers down then the virtual hands go down and do not move. Is this how quest link works? I cannot use my physical hands to pinch or to point. I must hold the controllers then the virtual hands move and react with the controllers. I cannot bring up the virtual controllers in quest link. My games still work fine with the physical controllers. Is there a fix for this?

Don't worry, it's all how it is supposed to be....nothing is broken.🙂
Hand Tracking (using your physical hands) is a feature of the Quest.
You can only use it when you play the Quest standalone.
When you link the Quest to pc, it's not longer a Quest, it's actually a Rift and the Quest feature are lost.
