When using the rechargeable lithium-ion controller batteries provided with the Meta Quest Compact Charging Dock, the controllers will lose connection randomly during gaming sessions. My son has to constantly reconnect them. When he uses disposable batteries (not the ones that came with the dock) the controllers work perfectly fine. Can someone help here? Obviously it defeats the purpose of having the charging dock if he can’t use the wireless charging batteries that come with it. He wants me to return the dock and buy more batteries.

Hi @Mags2004 🙂
Another option is trying other rechargeable batteries than the ones from the charging dock.
I use rechargeable batteries without issues.....of course, you can't use the charging station with them.

Yeah that’s what he did last night. He said that worked fine so just might keep using rechargeable batteries and return the docking station.
