So I bought the headset roughly 2 months ago and I haven't even used it yet, I took it out the box and checked everything was fine when I got it home. All checked out and all good, controllers were fine so was the headset.
I then took the batteries out of the controllers since I knew I wouldn't be able to actually use it for awhile and boxed everything back up.
I finally got round to being able to have the space and time to use it and my controllers simply do not work, I've seen this is a fairly common issue so I went down the multiple threads and tried every solution offered on them by the MetaSupport account.
I finally just did the factory reset in a last ditch effort and like many others, got stuck on the pairing screen. Both controllers don't work which leads me to believe it has to be a software issue rather than hardware right? The only problem is neither gets any sort of LED indication of receiving power.
I've tried new batteries, resetting controllers, different batteries, everything worked fine on first boot up of the headset when i bought it, and nothing has been mishandled or even touched due to being stuck in the box and being unused. Both are quite literally brand new controllers without a blemish on them.
This sucks because I was so excited to finally be able to jump in after upgrading from the Quest 2, what a dampener on the headset for me.

Hey @Geddyy, we're disheartened to learn that you're having issues with controllers of your fairly new Meta Quest 3 and understand it can be frustrating to have such technical issues with a device that is roughly 2 months old. Therefore to help you get onboard with your VR world journey again, we suggest you to kindly PM us as this would allow us to look into this in more detail and get further relevant information.

it's v68 system's bug.I have the same problem.
Many players have reported this bug. I also encountered that in the V68 system, if the controller is not operated for more than ten or twenty minutes, there is a high probability that the controller will not wake up after sleeping. Sometimes it is the right controller, sometimes it is the left controller, and sometimes both controllers cannot wake up. I can see through the perspective camera that the infrared light of the controller keeps flashing, indicating that the controller is working, but vr device cannot recognize it. Can only restart the system or reinstall the battery
