Quest 3 controllers won't charge on Charging Dock

Hi

We two quest 3 headset's and use the quest docking station..

when we try to charge the controllers all We're getting is the green/yellow flashing light on all four controllers and they don't charge.(the headset charges fine).

I've tried different batteries, resting controles, resetting headsets,and different power adapters.And nothing seems to work .

Could you please help me with suggestions as now we are back to buying batteries every week..

Hey there, @RedShirtTeam! Glad to see you were able to self resolve this on your own by using a new charging cable. In cases like this it is best to test the dock using a 45w charging cable as the 18w cord that comes with the headset can not always provide power to all the devices properly through the dock. I just purchased the docking station for my quest 3 and followed all instructions but controllers will not recharge.  Just flashes green and orange.  Checked everything and reinstalled with same result. 

Hi there, @espley! We absolutely want to do everything we can to ensure your controllers are charging properly with your new dock, so we'd love to assist further! To begin with, we'd like to make sure we have a good idea of this situation overall. Please clarify the following details when you have a moment and we can move forward from there:

  • Are all three LEDs on the charging dock showing? What color are those LEDs, if so?
  • Where was this charging dock purchased?
  • Is the headset successfully charging on this dock?
  • When you dock the controllers, do they make a sound at all?
  • So we don't repeat any, what troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

I’m having this problem as well.  I just got my Meta Quest 3 with the docking station and the controllers don’t even cause a light on the dock nor can I get them to ‘reboot’ (no haptic response)
