I just setup brand new Quest 3 and it doesn't detect my WiFi 6E network (router ASUS AXE-11000). 2,4GHz and 5GHz is detected. Quest Pro that I have used to have the same problem but it would eventually detect my WiFi 6E network after several reboots or/and waiting few minutes. Latest v57 fixed it for Quest Pro and from then on it would detect WiFi 6E network immediately or after 10-15 seconds.
Unfortunately it's not the case for Quest 3. I tried a few different channels and restarted many times. Tired to add SSID manually. Nothing works. I can't really use WiFi 5GHz to play PCVR because I have several 5Ghz networks around me that cause interference so 6GHz is the only way.
Edit: After many more attempts of chaning channels and different settings on the router, restarts of the router and the headset I still can't get it to find it. It did show up for a brief while but when attempted to connect it says "can't connect, try again later" and disappears from the list.
This is the exact same problem that happened on Quest Pro just more pronounced. Meta you need to address this issue. I have too many 5GHz networks around me so 6GHz WiFi is my only choice.
Quest 3 with Wifi 6e is broken. Meta will not admit it until it is fixed. Return your routers until this becomes a priority and it gets a proper solution besides the 'ol factory reset. I'm really frustrated reading all the forum posts across the internet about this issue and support folks can do nothing to help but the usual have youtried turning it off and on again?...
Ever since V64 6Ghz wifi my Quest 3 has been unstable with constant disconnects. I use Virtual Desktop so I've been forced to switch to the 5Ghz for the time being. I thought it was just a me problem but asking around the virtual desktop discord server another user with a Unifi AP is also having this issue ever since v64. My AP is the U6 Enterprise running firmware 6.6.65. The other guy is using an U7 Pro
gotta love widespread issues with the quest 3 being reported and the best support can do is link to an old thread. despite all the wifi 6e issues being associated with V65

No the problem exist since i have the quest 3 day one of the release. Read the hole thing.
They just released the first patches to make it better. After a long time of waiting. Maybe they made it worst and waited to long but at least they working on it.
Hello, I had the same problem. The first time I received the same answer as you from support. The second time they called me and I was able to explain my problem to them better. The consultant forwarded my problem to the technical department. A few days later I got a response that went something like this: the Wifi 6E is relatively new and there appear to be connectivity issues with Quest 3. There will be future updates to fix this. Until then, please use Wifi 6.
I went on vacation and was trying to connect to the Wifi at the house, but my Quest 3 will not connect to the network. When I go check known good networks, it just says that it couldn't connect to try later. When I went to edit the connect, the security was set to none even though it should have been WPA2. I tried to connect to my phone using it as a hotspot. I also could not connect to it and the security was set to none. I changed the hotspot's SSID and passphrase to match my network at home, and it connected with no problem. I changed it to match a different network I use at times, and it was also able to connect. There seems to be a bug with connecting to new networks.
Today I bought a TP-Link AXE5400 Wi-Fi 6E router, specifically because it was mentioned in a YouTube video as working with Quest 3 over 6 GHz. I set it up with separate SSIDs, disabled 5 GHz. It works fine with my phone on 6 GHz, but the 6 GHz SSID just won't connect on my Quest 3. The Quest sees the 6 GHz SSID, and I click on it and it asks for the password, which I know is correct because I have the same password everywhere and I type it a million times, but it just quietly disappears when I click Connect. I try reconnecting multiple times, each time it prompts me for the password again, each time it just disconnects right away. Sigh...
