Quest 3 doesn't find my WiFi 6E network

I just setup brand new Quest 3 and it doesn't detect my WiFi 6E network (router ASUS AXE-11000). 2,4GHz and 5GHz is detected. Quest Pro that I have used to have the same problem but it would eventually detect my WiFi 6E network after several reboots or/and waiting few minutes. Latest v57 fixed it for Quest Pro and from then on it would detect WiFi 6E network immediately or after 10-15 seconds.

Unfortunately it's not the case for Quest 3. I tried a few different channels and restarted many times. Tired to add SSID manually. Nothing works. I can't really use WiFi 5GHz to play PCVR because I have several 5Ghz networks around me that cause interference so 6GHz is the only way.

Edit: After many more attempts of chaning channels and different settings on the router, restarts of the router and the headset I still can't get it to find it. It did show up for a brief while but when attempted to connect it says "can't connect, try again later" and disappears from the list.

This is the exact same problem that happened on Quest Pro just more pronounced. Meta you need to address this issue. I have too many 5GHz networks around me so 6GHz WiFi is my only choice.

I came back home and switched my quest on and 6ghz is gone again!!!

I don't understand whats happening why is it doing this

Hope v67 fixes this **bleep**

Its getting really annoying

I'm on v67 (67.0.0.504.356.616599631) and for one of my 6Ghz wlans i still have to wait some time to give the quest 3 time to find the network. And some time it does not find it no mather what i do. So no v 67 does not fix the problem 😞

I did the ptc update to v67 and i saw 6ghz for a brief moment and i couldn't connect!!! Is anyone at meta working on a solution or are we just talking here in vain.

So far 6 GHz still works for me.  Because of your problems I'm crossing all fingers because I'm expecting it could stop working at any time.  (Which would suck because I was previously using Air Bridge, which is pretty good except it's 5 GHz only and doesn't let you pick a channel and 5 GHz is very crowded in my neighborhood -- and recently it thought it was a great idea to switch to a crowded channel, which makes HL:A have occasional stuttering.)

I will say that, as long as 6 GHz is working, it's working really well.  Super smooth Steam Link.  Of course it helps that mine is literally the ONLY 6 GHz channel in use in range of my house, but even when that changes 6 GHz has tons of channels.

Hopefully it would stay like that , i just dont understand how it worked out of the blue and then went back to not working again. Hopefully they r working on a fix.

Some people are not affected by this at all having the same setup .so its a random glitch affecting wifi for some people

WTF my specific topic has been moved here as an answer to this totally unrelated topic ?! Meta Community Manager what are you doing ? 🤔

Hey there! The experience you're having as to do with Wi-FI 6e correct? I think it was moved dud e to just overall issues with Wi-Fi 6e connectivity.

We are all mad here.

No, no, no... you are in the right place friend.  This is where bugs and want-list features go to get ignored.  Welcome to the pity party.

No I've never say I have problems with wifi6, I said I have problems with network without internet.

Wifi ≠ internet.

Wifi is a wireless network protocol, Internet is the world wide web.

My wifi and my ethernet connections works as expected, but Meta Quest Link App doesn't work correctly without internet (and it is not mandatory to have internet to use this app).

So no it is not related at all to this topic.

Please restore my original topic, I created a new one because I didn't find anybody speaking about that very problem.
