Whenever I use my link cable I disconnect after 15-20 minutes of use.
I assume this is a driver issue... Any knowledge on when there will be one?

Hey @Alirezanet, buying a whole new setup and not being able to use it is the worst. For now, we're just gonna have to wait until they release full compatibility. You can check the link HERE for when they update the list to include newer GPU's.

well, i have an 6700XT, compatible but link crash with quest 2, 3 and rift S. Never had a problem with my old index.
And yes, i tested every "solution" even windows fresh install
Other side, a friend have a professional nvidia not on the list, but it work perfectly with his quest 2
Maybe it's just not a priority for Meta to fix their PC software since they focus on standalone...
Hope my index last long and RIP pancake lenses..

It could be caused by something as small as an update to your drivers. If you feel up to troubleshooting, I'm sure support might be able to find something. I'll drop a link HERE for anyone who might want to give it a shot.

Spent hours trying to get a new pc with AMD RX7900XT & Quest controllers working in Xplane12 with VD. Works ok with 12 y.o. HPZ440 & Nvidia 3060, but underpowered, hence the new rig. VERY disappointed that Meta can't get new AMD cards working.

Guys, I am with you ..... an Aged pensioner In Indonesia who has just paid in excess of AUD2000.00 to buy an anchor .... oops I mean an AMD RX 7900xtx which I saved for years to buy.
It would appear that there is no solution nor work-around and I would sincerely doubt that Meta is inclined to help any of its customers out in this i9nstance.
It is even harder to recommend Meta to anybody given this situation. It is somewhat akin to buying a car and only being able to fit Goodyear tyres.
Absolute Stupidity

Will this ever be fixed? It's nearly 8 months later and there is no support at all for the AMD 7000XT series and now have 2 different devices that doesn't work one of which is the Meta Quest 3 that I purchased a few hours ago but didn't know there was going to be an issue since my Quest 2 didn't have any issues with with graphics card I'm using now.
Everything works except for excessive lag with both video and tracking as soon as you connect it to a computer either with airlink or with a cable. There is heavy gray and white banding and desyncs movements where you see a static image every 5-10 seconds.
I do not see buying an older graphics card just to see hardware support being an answer given the 7900XT will run any game on the market at max settings and VR is fully supported except Meta branded devices currently it seems.

I'm guessing this a more serious problem since I tried this again using a RTX 4080 which is on the recommended list and the problem still exists. So far no way to resolve it.

*update* this problem is with AirLink not working on any graphics card I've tested against regardless of configuration since my fiber optic cable does seem to work right (but does not charge the device well)
