Quest 3, floor too low

Hi - I'm having a problem with the floor in games being too low to enable me to play the game.  At first I thought this was related to Golf+ but I just tried Elven Table Tennis and hit the same issue.  In both instances the floor in the game is a good 12 inches below where it should be.  In Table Tennis this resulted in the table top feeling at about knee height.  Golf+ is similar, I have to move the controller to knee height to try and get the club low enough to hit the ball making the game unplayable.  If I play First Encounters I've no height issues, with everything landing and floor level.

I've tried rescanning the room, setting the floor height and deleting and recreating boundaries with no success.  Any suggestions?

Hi @neilbailie.2024 🙂

do you have "lying down" mode enabled?

If so, disable it, restart the headset and look if the floor level in games has changed.

Several user on forum reported that issue and could fix it by disabling that mode.

It seems, there is a bug with "lying down" mode.

Fixed with @Choleni's suggestion. Go to the Experimental Settings tab under the Settings menu on their headset and disable “Use Apps While Lying Down.”

Thanks

I'm having this same problem, and I don't have Use Apps While Laying Down selected. I tried re-scanning the room and every time I go back, the virtual floor is about 4-6 inches higher than it should be. Tried resetting the floor high and get the same results. The settings allow me to go all the way down, but after saving and coming back, it's at the same spot.

Hi there @SOG_BigDog,

Thanks for getting in touch, have you tried rebooting to see if that resolves the issue?

Also if you go here you can find more information on boundaries, we recommend following the steps under Manage scene and physical space history, so you can create a fresh new boundary.
