Bought a brand new quest 3 and got it set up yesterday with my dad as the primary owner of the device so I can family share his game library. I installed Gorilla tag and tried to play the game and got a black screen with 3 dots for loading.
However once the loading dots stopped, the headset showed me passthrough mode and began playing the game audio. I could hear the game but not see it. the controllers would 'open' the menu but i could only hear it and not see it nor interact with it. So i told my dad and he remembered the recording hot keys and grabbed some clips of trying to launch the games only to have the save thing happen and soft lock the quest 3. We could only shut it down by holding the power button.
After several attempts to get the thing working with different messed up results. The controllers no longer seem to be tracked when we turn the headset on. Our hands aren't tracked either. We can remove the batteries and pop them back in to get the controllers to wake up, but only the menu buttons work and we can't interact with the select account log in screen.

I think this might have overlap with a Family sharing issue. I will make a separate post for that though.

We have factory reset the quest 3 and placed myself as the device owner, it is working for now with none of the above issues.
