Quest 3 lense pulsing/flashing after V74 update

As well as not being able to charge above 76% after recieving the v74 update I noticed my left lense is flashing when I leave the usb c charge cable connected, I made a short video of the issue on my phone, this only started happening after the V74 update, the headset still works but if I switch it off and leave it charging once the battery gets to 76% my left lense will start flashing, the flashing stops once I remove the charge cable from the headset, as I say this wasn't happening until my headset was updated from V72 to V74, before that my headset would charge to 100% and I had no such flashing or pulsing even when I left my cable connected.

Experiencing similar issues after the v74 update.

@stereoman  As I’ve already mentioned to you on the ptc v74 thread I’m not seeing either of these issues with my non/ptc v74 Q3 using my Q3 Elite battery strap.  All seems to be working fine and both batteries charge up to 100% using my Q3 charger/cable.  So, not sure why you and a few others (many always report having exactly the same problems, lol!) are having these issues?
Not much as a user I can suggest except to maybe try a different cable and/or try turning the type c charger connector around 180deg and make sure to secure any cables to your headstrap while playing so it doesn’t flop around and maybe damage your headset cable socket.

Well as it's not just me experiencing these issues clearly you are the outlier here and I think what's best is to wait and see how Meta responds, the one thing I can confirm is I was not experiencing any of these issues prior to update v74, , maybe its a specific batch of quest 3 headsets effected, I personally have the 128gb version, I don't know why it's happening but hopefully Meta will find the issue and fix it.

The v74.1020 Build 5070966.19510.510 update i received this morning still hasn't addressed the inability for the headset to charge past 73%. What is super annoying now is that this is the 4 update my headset has been forced to do since v72 update, that was working just happily and able to charge to 100% and utilize my extra external batteries on strap to keep it charge in use. The headset is also sucking the power out of the headset very quickly aswell....   ALL this was introduced since the bloody thing updated to v74!!!

Meta isn't going to fix things by simply posting on this user forum imho.  I suggest you file a bug report (quest quick menu report icon) and also contact meta support, including your YouTube video.  Could be a hardware issue, who knows?  Anyway, good luck sorting this out mate and cheers.

If there is a problem, it is better to submit a problem report. There is a problem feedback button in the main menu of the system. I think it is very important to submit a problem report to fix the problem, because it will be accompanied by some operating data of the system, so that the developer can analyze the data and find the problem. Then wait. It may take some time to fix the problem.

The first thing I did was submit a problem report. I submitted a report when this issue happened with the beta but Meta just released V74 as an official update anyway regardless of the battery issue. So technically now I've submitted two reports.
