Quest 3 missing… some questions

I know that the headset doesn’t have traditional tracking, but:

  • Will I know if my account was removed from a device registered to me?
  • Will I know if a device registered to me gets registered to someone else’s account?
  • Can I register the serial number of the device with Meta and flag it as stolen/missing?
  • can meta CS confirm if the serial number to my device is in use with someone else?

I'm not sure because I haven't shared my devices, but you can try going here:

https://secure.oculus.com/my/devices/

There is a column that says "Allowed Users" on each device, but mine just says something like "share your device settings in VR". If I had allowed users, I'm not sure what it displays.

There is a button to wipe the device data on that page.

Any device that has been activated under your Meta account will remain on your list of devices unless you factory reset the headset and do not activate it under your Meta account or when it has been activated under a different account. If you wish to perform a factory reset on your missing Quest 3 headset, you can do so through your Meta account online.
