Quest 3 not staying connected to multiplayer room in game

I have the newest dual band router from xfinity with their gigabit connection. I need the 2.4g band for security cams I have. Everything else I have connects to 5/6g. My router is located on the second floor approx 15 feet above my head. I recently contacted xfinity support and was told my router should handle 5 quest3 online at the same time. My wife also has one, we like to play real vr fishing and walkabout mini golf together. We can start the game just fine. In real vr fishing either one of us can create a multiplayer room and the other person can connect no problem. The problem is being able to stay connected to the multiplayer room. After 10 to 15 minutes either one of us will get disconnected from the room. In walkabout we play with a couple friends who connect with their own quest 2 from their home. Everyone can get into the room, but 10 to 15 minutes later I get booted. No one else is affected, they all continue to play without any problems. I'm the only one who gets booted. I can quit to the main menu and then reenter the room, but then 5 minutes later I get booted again. Sometimes it only lasts for 1 minute before I get booted.

One thing both me and my wife have noticed in the wifi settings is that when it is connected to 6g the signal strength is FAIR. If it connects to 5g the signal strength is EXELENT.  We have also noticed, if we stay in wifi settings, that it will automatically switch between 5g and 6g. Like it is resetting its connection every couple minutes. What is causing that? Why doesn't it just stay connected to either 5g or 6g? And why doesn't it just stay connected to 5g since it has exelent signal strength?
