Quest 3 recorded video is zoomed in

Hello,

I have a Quest 3 to play Microsoft Flight Simulator, basically. My problem is that when I record a video with the Quest 3, when I play the video the distance inside the cabin of the plane has been zoomed in, which means that the instruments of the plane do not appear in the video, in addition to the plane of vision is slightly tilted to the right side. I would like to know if there is a way to zoom out this view of the cockpit in the recordings, without changing the view in the VR headset. Thanks and sorry for my English. Greetings

Hi @juli.608224  there's currently no way to zoom out in the viewing/recording on the Quest 3, but there are keyboard options in MS flight simulator to zoom in/out which may give you a better result when recording footage on the headset.

Alternatively, you could record you flight simulator gameplay from the desktop using the Oculus mirror which may not appear as zoomed in as Quest recordings.

I faced the same problem with Falcon BMS flight simulator. The recorded video is zoomed in relation with what I saw inside the sim.

The problem with this sim is that work with Virtual Desktop and OpenXR. Can I use Oculus Mirror without Meta Link?

@dimi.gav   you can't use oculus mirror without the link software, but you might be able to mirror the VD content if you also have steam running at the same time. There's a steam menu option to show the gameplay on your monitor.  I'm really not sure if this will work though.
