Seeing how many people have the exact same experience, it's awful suspicious of you Meta.
I got 2 quest 3's on release day for my kids. One of them just bricked. It locked up at the user login, with no response from hand tracking or controllers (though the controller would vibrate as if it was doing something). After searching around the Internet, I decided to factory reset it through the boot menu. After starting it back up, the screen was just black. I could hear the background music, but couldn't see anything. So I pulled up the boot menu again, and side loaded the current update from metas site. No change. The headset is of course out of warranty. Meta was no help, other than verifying it was out of warranty, and offering a refurbished one for $460.....what a joke! My kid was complaining about it acting funny since the last update, then it just dies? Has anyone else had this issue? Is there anyway to save this $650 paperweight?
