Quest 3 stuck on white screen

Hi everyone,

my Quest 3 seems to be stuck.

It shows a white Screen (VR mode).
It cannot be turned off, Power button doesn't work at all. Hard reset (holding button long doesn't work either). No reaction whatsoever.
LED on the left side is white, so it's turned on.
LED on the front is white. All normal.
Charger works. No problems with the cable. We have connected and disconnected the power for a period of time to test a difference. Nothing.

Did anybody else have this problem before and can help?

You have already mentioned trying a variety of fixes, so ignore the steps that you have already attempted. 

 

1. Remove any unsupported third-party accessories that may affect boot (such as external battery packs, accessories that plug into the USB-C port, etc.)

 

2. Hard Reboot the headset

  1. Hold down the power button and volume down button for 30 seconds until you hear the boot-up sound
  2. If the boot-up sound is not heard:
    1. Hold the power and volume (-) button down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
    2. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight "Boot Device" and press the power button.
    3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

3. Perform a Factory Reset as a last resort.

  • Turn off your headset.
  • Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.

Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.

  • Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.

Performing a factory reset is irreversible and will remove all account information, downloaded games, and content from the headset. Performing a factory reset won't remove content you've purchased or downloaded from your account.
