As of a couple of hours ago booting into any app automatically sets a stationary boundary. I can define a new boundary just fine but absolutely nothing will use it now. Clearing the boundary history did nothing, hard resetting the headset did nothing. I'm on the most recent version. At a loss here. I don't want to play in stationary because I feel unsafe reaching out because it won't warn me of walls/objects or anything. I had been using roomscale boundaries since launch.

Somehow every app had on its own set its boundary to stationary even though roomscale was available. Did not know that was even an option. Hit it in the quick menu after launching an app.

I had the same problem and fixed it. OP means once you launch your game, press the oculus button on the right controller to get back out. In the quick settings menus, toggle the boundary from stationary to room scale. Then resume your game. For me, that fixed all occurrences of the problem.

Hi, can you be more precise about what to do exactly ? I can't find the button you're talking about

I'm very confused atm. I see that in the quick setting I can change the setting and have the option "stationary" and "free room". But I'm developing a mixed reality app and we had "room scale" working. With "room scale" I mean I could walk around my complete room without the "free room" limitation. When I walk outside of the "free room" boundary (which is not the same as the room scale) I get the popup with the question if I want to create a new boundary.
What changed? How can I have real "room scale" back?
Thanks

Hey, @Railon!
Thank you for bringing this to our attention! As you have mentioned that you are developing an app, we would love to point you in the right direction for the support you need with this boundary issue.
We encourage you to submit a request with our Developer Support, so that they can look into these room scale settings further for you, and work with you to get them back to how you like them, as here at Meta Quest Support, developer tools are a little outside of our scope of support!
We hope this helps!
All the best!

So this is the solution for now and maybe also the solution I never had implemented (yet): https://developers.meta.com/horizon/documentation/unity/unity-boundaryless/
Deactivating the boundary completely in my MR app is fine for me.

I have this exact same problem, which only started today. However, the proposed solution does not work. When I go to quick settings, I am able to draw a roomscale boundary but as soon as I open any app, I immediately find myself in the staionary boundary again. I have tried a Boot Reset and cleared any existing boundaries but it has made no difference made no difference
