I'm travelling to a local beach to live in a caravan. I wish to bring my quest 3 but I'm worried that if I travel with it in its original box in the car for 2 hours and having it in the caravan for 2 weeks. Could I get any knowledge if this is a good idea to bring it if the weather is boiling hot. (Worried that the headset might overheat in the car or in the caravan).

Hey hey @tyler_gray, and welcome to the forums! I know I love my headset so much I try to take it on longer trips too. I'm happy to give you my own insight, and give you some guidance as well.
Currently, I have a carrying case for my Quest 2, but before that I would just use the original box for transport. Since it has the specific spots to hold the headset and controllers, it works pretty well for protecting everything!
As for the heat, I would highly suggest not leaving your headset anywhere that gets hot like that, especially for extended time periods. All the resources I have say to keep your headset and controllers away from heat sources, so I think a hot car and/or caravan would fall under that. If you are however able to keep it cool, then I'd say you could bring it, but personally if it might get too hot I don't think it would be worth the risk of anything happening to your headset.
You can also check out more info and resources in the Quest 3 Safety Center. Hope this helped!
