Quest 3 v72 window layout inconsistencies between headsets

We have 3 headsets in the house, all purchased for Christmas '24 and on the same v72 build. My window layout is different than the other 2 and I'd love to get it changed to match the others.

My headset:

Other 2 headsets:

I've looked through all the settings I can find and chat/email support gives the same canned response of,

"Currently, the design and layout of the Meta Quest OS, including the position of the window close buttons, are set by the system and cannot be modified. We recognize that this may not align with your preferences, but these design choices are made to ensure a consistent and user-friendly experience across the platform."

If this is the case then why is my headset button layout different? *sigh* Does anyone know how to change the position of the window buttons so they will all be the same?

The features of the quest system updates are continuously released. Although the update notes say that a certain feature has been updated, these features may still be in testing. You may not be able to experience the new features mentioned a few months ago until a few weeks or months later. I think this is very confusing. Ten people's headsets may have ten different features, but there is no way. The quest system updates have always been like this, and I don't think they will change in the future.

This is due to the phased rollout update scheme Meta uses. Headsets update at different times and features/changes are added/removed at different times.

And also your experience bolsters Meta's claim that the rollouts are not done by region or else the updates should be identical on both your headsets.

There are people outhere having different features on two accounts on the SAME headset.😅

Yes, I saw someone on reddit even had three accounts logged into one headset, and the three accounts had three different UI interfaces, it was so funny
